Andrea Fraume

  • Andrea Fraume Valencia has more than a decade of experience in community education and program management within nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. Residing in San Jose since 2005, she obtained her training in social sciences and anthropology from West Valley College and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her background is in managing leadership and community outreach programs alongside local leaders, educators, public officials, and community members, which has equipped her with substantial expertise in organizing internal systems and community-focused initiatives.

  • Leslie Rodriguez is a partner at California Strategies and has been working with MVCLT for the past 18 months on a comprehensive initiative to support co-founders with strategic relationship building and policy advocacy.

    Leslie has been working to cultivate relationships at all levels of government, actively engaging with elected and appointed officials at the city, county, state, and federal levels to build a strong network of advocates and promoters. This relationship-building strategy aims to secure crucial funding streams that will enable MVCLT to acquire properties and develop affordable housing projects.

Leslie Rodriguez

  • Born in La Mira, Michoacán, Mexico, Violet came to the United States in 1986 at the age of 12. She grew up in Washington state, where she attended high school and developed a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. After earning her Associate’s Degree in Accounting, she began her nonprofit career with Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, where she discovered how much she valued working for organizations that put people first.

Violet Medina

  • Evergreen Collective partners with Mountain View Community Land Trust to support their fundraising activities. Evergreen Collective’s work focuses on identifying and researching grant opportunities, grant writing, relationship building with donors, maintaining internal fundraising systems, enhancing development tools, and building capacity to help sustain long-term impact. Evergreen Collective helps demystify the grant process by sharing industry insights, empowering MVCLT to advance their fundraising goals.
